On February 9, 2026, the Peer-Assisted Learning (PAL) Program for the 2025–2026 academic year was successfully launched following a dissemination event at the University of Alkafeel, College of Medicine. PAL is a structured, evidence-based program built on the near-peer teaching model, where senior students guide junior colleagues through interactive, small-group sessions focused on high-yield topics. The program utilizes a comprehensive framework that includes needs assessment, structured session design, tutor preparation, and continuous evaluation to ensure quality learning and measurable academic impact. Beyond strengthening academic understanding, the program aims to develop students’ teaching, leadership, and communication skills while fostering a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and lifelong learning.
